Google Research, in partnership with HHMI Janelia, introduced a complete map of the male fruit fly brain and central nervous system containing over 166,000 neurons—the largest cellular brain map to date. Beyond digital uploading, it offers foundational data for neuroscience of visual systems, taste, and social behavior.
