NVIDIA to become new home for Hugging Face, Jensen Huang touts open models for AI sovereignty

Jensen Huang announced that NVIDIA will be the new home for Hugging Face, calling it a major milestone for open models. He argues open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty—letting every developer, startup, university and country build with and customize AI. Lux Capital investors congratulated HF founders Clement Delangue and Julien Chaumond, calling it an inflection point for open models and a new chapter for sovereignty and economic possibility.
