An unverified claim circulating on X says NVIDIA has acquired Hugging Face for $12.93B, scaling a platform serving 18M users with 3M+ models.
According to the post, Hugging Face stays open, supporting multi-cloud and multi-accelerator setups without requiring NVIDIA compute, and NVIDIA remains the platform's largest contributor with 500+ models. Neither company has officially confirmed the deal.
