UAE's IFM releases K2 Horizon: six fully open models up to 375B with full training data

IFM, part of UAE's MBZUAI, has released K2 Horizon — a connected fleet of six fully open-source foundation models ranging from 0.9B to 375B parameters, billed as the largest fully open-source model launch in AI history. Unlike typical open-weight releases, IFM published the full training record: training code, data, data recipes, intermediate checkpoints, and evaluation logs. The models reportedly post top-tier coding and agentic results in every size class, with the 0.9B, 3.7B and 7B variants setting new state-of-the-art marks.
