Perplexity launches fully local Portable Computer on Linux RTX GPUs and DGX Spark

Perplexity announced that Portable Computer, the fully local version of Perplexity Computer, is now available on Linux for NVIDIA RTX GPUs with 24GB+ VRAM, as well as on DGX Spark. The entire runtime—orchestrator LLM, subagent LLM, and agent harness—runs on local hardware with no cloud dependency.
