Rep. Greg Casar announced he and Bernie Sanders are introducing a bill to ban artificial superintelligence, arguing ASI would risk Americans' security, freedom and lives. MIRI's Nate Soares boosted it: "This wasn't even close to possible a year ago. Humanity has a shot."
