A user asked Claude to edit an invoice PDF he had created for his own business, but Claude refused—citing tax and accounting concerns—even after he explained he was the business owner, and instead asked for accounting software API keys. He switched to a Meta model, which completed the minor edits in half the time and at lower cost, arguing Anthropic's safeguards have gone overboard.
