A widely shared argument contends the biggest risk isn't AI itself but falling behind: you need compute, your own data, the ability to manage data, control and train models, and lots of electricity.
The quoted remarks go further, calling certain approaches "anti-sovereignty" and warning that relying on external model providers literally exfiltrates your alpha to the vendor. On regulation: "please get technical experts to do it" — regulators who don't understand the technology produce rules that export your secrets to another company.
