Fine-tuned SDXL on 60 childhood photos to simulate memory recall
Chuka444 · reddit · 2026-09-03
An artist fine-tuned SDXL on 60 childhood photographs, deliberately embracing unstable generations — spaces, faces and fragments that feel familiar without having existed. The project frames generative hallucination as an analogue for episodic memory: recollection as reconstruction from incomplete traces, not retrieval. Built with Kohya, WarpFusion, TouchDesigner, Premiere, After Effects and more; tutorials and project files shared on YouTube and Patreon.
