NVIDIA officially announced the acquisition of Hugging Face for $12,930,300,000 in a post signed by Jensen Huang. The platform serves 18M+ developers with 3M+ models, 500K datasets and 1M apps, used by 200K+ companies. NVIDIA pledged Hugging Face stays open — free choice of models, frameworks, clouds and accelerators, no NVIDIA compute required — and cited its open-weights letter as strategic rationale.
