Cohere Labs released the Agentic Task Ecosystem (ATE) dataset, harvesting nearly 700,000 tools from public MCP servers to map what developers are building AI agents to do. Their analysis argues AI's impact on the future of work will hinge not just on model capabilities but on which tasks developers choose to automate and how. The dataset and accompanying blog post are publicly available.
