Eigenfaces revisited: interactive demos of the pioneering computer vision technique

CS professor Kiriakos Kutulakos (CSProfKGD) published a visualization of Eigenfaces with two interactive demos. He recalls that when he started computer vision research as an undergrad, the pioneering work of Sirovich & Kirby and Pentland & Turk was everywhere, and lists related contributions by Allan Jepson, David Fleet, Michael Black and multidimensional extensions. A fun classic worth revisiting, with both demos available online.
