A Microduck owner designed a LEGO version in BrickLink Studio as a joke, then discovered she could actually build it, generate instructions and order every part — a second, brick-shaped financial problem after the $399 robot duck. In the quoted post she argues 10,000 preorders are just the warm-up: once the ducks ship, owners will flood TikTok, Instagram and X with dog-meets-duck and kid-teaches-tricks clips, turning 10,000 buyers into 10,000 unpaid marketers and pulling in bystanders who never cared about robotics.
