Open-source llm-training-panel: watch your local finetune live, AMD ROCm supported
Honest-Fun-5279 · reddit · 2026-09-03
The author open-sourced llm-training-panel, a local web UI for continued pretraining/finetuning of local models on your own text, with native AMD ROCm support (most tools assume CUDA).
Highlights:
- Load a model from a local dir or HF id
- Live per-parameter gradient activity board during training
- A/B compare base vs trained model on the same prompt
- Scores recall and verbatim overlap against a probe file
Tested on Linux + AMD ROCm; results vary with base model/corpus/settings. Feedback welcome.
