ClickHouse's CEO argues the database is the best observability layer for agentic workloads: traditional applications served specific personas with predictable query patterns, but agents have no personas — they move across systems, fire dozens of concurrent SQL queries, and explore data in less predictable ways. Since the whole agent workflow is limited by its slowest system, latency becomes the primary requirement.
