Lipid clock trained only on cancer patients accurately predicts age in healthy people

A new paper in Aging and Disease from MaxUnfried's team shows a lipid biological clock trained exclusively on pancreatic cancer serum predicts chronological age in healthy controls with high accuracy — pathological cohorts retain clear aging signals. Follow-ups in the thread: Lipid Age Acceleration independently predicts survival (HR=1.09, p<0.005, robust to age/BMI/staging/CA19-9 adjustments), LAA + CA19-9 outperforms either marker alone, and sphingolipid SM 41:2 is the most stable protective feature by bootstrap selection.
