Wayve and Uber have launched supervised autonomous rides across all of London (except airports), marking the first time the public can ride with the Wayve AI Driver and the first autonomous trips available in the UK. Wayve pursues an end-to-end "AV2.0" approach, training autonomy foundation models via a fleet learning loop, with research assets including the GAIA generative world model and LINGO natural-language driving models.
