ai& and Tenstorrent launched JapanFold, an open-source drug discovery platform running on sovereign Japanese infrastructure powered by Tenstorrent Galaxy superclusters. It serves leading models like Boltz-2, OpenFold3, RFdiffusion 3 and more, covering protein folding through de novo drug design, at a fraction of conventional cloud cost with data staying in Japan. Access is via browser Workbench, a unified API, or Agent Skills for Claude Code/Cursor/Codex. Tenstorrent CEO Jim Keller says scalable hardware plus open models are reshaping what's possible in biology.
