Robotics skeptic: cool demos don't matter until someone can mass produce

Commenting on a robot demo (one that appears to flip off the camera), a skeptic argues that many robotics companies showcase cool demos but almost none can mass-produce their products at mega scale — and until they can, the demos don't really matter. Only a handful of companies today are plausibly capable of real mass production.
