Xynova unveils Prima 1 robotic hand: 22 degrees of freedom, lifts up to 20 kg

Xynova has introduced Prima 1, a robotic hand with 22 degrees of freedom that combines vision and touch sensors to better understand and manipulate objects. Using direct-drive motors, it moves quickly and can lift objects weighing up to 20 kg. Scoble shared the demo clip, joking that the hand appeared to flip him off.
