4 driverless Robotaxi rides, 8 miles for $27.25 — cheaper than one $33 Uber trip

Sawyer Merritt shared his first day of Tesla unsupervised Robotaxi rides: four trips totaling 50 minutes and 8 miles for a combined $27.25. For comparison, a single 20-minute Uber ride that day (with tip) cost $33 — and smelled. Elon Musk retweeted the post. The comparison suggests driverless ride-hailing is already becoming cost-competitive with traditional ride services.
