DOJ official Todd Blanche revealed that sophisticated cyber criminals this week attempted a password-recovery attack on hundreds of thousands of X users, aiming to take over accounts. X disrupted the attack before accounts could be captured, and the Justice Department says it is working closely with X to track down those responsible.
