Induce AI Launches Rhapsody 1.0, Betting AI Video's Next Bottleneck Is Scene Control
aliscodes · x · 2026-09-03
iamjordan argues that once generation quality stops being the biggest bottleneck in AI video, the next challenge is control: making the right thing happen in a shot, for the right reason, and carrying through to the next one — requiring understanding of characters, actions, props, spatial relationships, and consequences.
Rhapsody 1.0 from Induce AI is built around that: reason about what should happen, hold story state, then verify the generated shot. Per Hindustan Times, Induce AI is training its own vision models to reason about film in ways general-purpose LLMs cannot. The author's take: AI video already looks impressive; the open question is whether AI actually understands the scene it's creating.
