AI security figures launch nonprofit AI Cybersecurity Observatory, seeking a founder
joshua_saxe · x · 2026-09-03
Joshua Saxe announces a new nonprofit, the AI Cybersecurity Observatory, formed by people from AI grantmaking orgs, AI labs, natsec policy and cyber defense. It will provide continuous forecasting and epidemiology on the coming wave of AI-automated cyberattacks for policymakers and defenders. Key points: no such organization exists today and policy is made on weak signals; soft funding commitments are in place pending a founding leader, with an open call for candidates.
