Pyr has opened a mouse hippocampal CA3 dataset (0.1 mm³) with 2,000 expert-proofread neurons and 36M+ synapses, letting the community proofread AI segmentations. Part of the NIH BRAIN CONNECTS program backed by Princeton, Simons Foundation and Google, it accompanies work by Zhihao Zheng featured on the September Nature Neuroscience cover.
