A developer shares what they call the hardest Codex task ever: getting Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge to compile and run natively on iOS and macOS. Since the game's source code was never released and believed lost, Codex (GPT-5.6 Sol) worked for 26 days, analyzed the original EXE, and rebuilt the entire game in 624,000 lines of C++.
