WebMCP Challenge closes tomorrow: make your site agent-callable in 10 minutes
thisiskp_ · x · 2026-09-03
The OpenAI/Netlify WebMCP Challenge closes at 5 p.m. PT tomorrow. WebMCP lets pages expose tools that AI agents can auto-discover and call — official demos include a checkout flow and a reservation system that pushes back when a slot is genuinely full. Sample site Kurio is an agent-shoppable fake store where agents browse, cart, and check out with no login. With ChatGPT's in-app browser or Chrome 149+ behind a flag, tools are auto-discovered; the poster says Codex or Netlify Agent Runners can make any site WebMCP-friendly in 10 minutes.
