AI safety talent org Kairos is scaling aggressively: the team grew from 5 to 14 in six months and aims to double again, opening 10 roles across programs, operations, and talent. Head-level positions pay $140K–$270K (remote, some in Berkeley); generalists $105K–$200K. New workstreams include Workshops, Kairos Labs incubator, Talent Operations, and Special Projects. The org says the field's bottleneck is people, not money: SPAR saw 6k+ applications this round vs 2.4k six months ago.
