Nvidia's market value has hit $5.3 trillion, now roughly 8% of the S&P 500's total market cap — near its highest share on record — and equivalent to 16.3% of US GDP.
It exceeds the combined value of the Energy, Utilities, Real Estate and Materials sectors, and is larger than five of the index's eleven sectors, trailing only IT, Communication Services, Financials, Health Care, Consumer Discretionary and Industrials.
