Codex computer-use pro-tip: a tab-title convention to track agent tasks, plus a free ChatGPT guide
danshipper · x · 2026-09-03
Dan Shipper of Every shares a Codex computer-use pro-tip: have the agent label which tab it's operating in via a shared task-title convention — [optional 🖥️][status emoji][project emoji][mode emoji] Title, where ⚠️ means ongoing/unresolved and ✅ means complete, with 🖥️ marking browser/native-app phases. He also promotes Every's free guide "ChatGPT for Knowledge Work": treat ChatGPT as an OS for knowledge work, with the new desktop app unifying Chat, Work, and Codex — Work runs multi-step agentic assignments across Slack, Google Drive, PostHog and Notion, an approach first built in Codex — plus a seven-day starter plan.
