Claude launches commerce agents blueprint; Shopify and Priceline already on board

Anthropic officially announced its commerce agents blueprint. Many of the world's largest retailers, marketplaces, and travel companies already build Claude-powered agents that let consumers search, compare, and buy in plain language — enterprise customers include Shopify and Priceline. The blueprint ships harnesses, patterns, and guardrails, reference shopping and merchant agents across retail, travel, telecom, and ticketing, plus a Claude Code plugin; ecosystem partners like Accenture, Mastercard, and Visa are enabling clients, timed for holiday-season planning.
