Anthropic's commerce-agents repo contains both a shopping agent and a merchant agent, each defined once (prompt, skills, tool contracts, gates) and runnable on the Messages API, Agent SDK, and Managed Agents. It includes four runnable vertical demos and a Claude Code plugin that builds an agent against your own backend. Anthropic says retailers saw carts up to 35% larger and shoppers 60% more likely to complete purchases.
