Human minds are built from inhuman processes—AGI will be too

The author argues that anything successfully replicating what human minds do will be made of inhuman physical processes—because human minds are made of those too. In a follow-up, he adds that what makes us uniquely human is just a specific combination of individually nonhuman processes, one we evolved to consider especially important for survival.
