Alongside the background computer use update, Claude Code's desktop docs detail the Code tab's full feature set: parallel sessions with Git isolation, drag-and-drop pane layout, integrated terminal and file editor, side chats, computer use, Dispatch sessions from your phone, visual diff review, app previews, PR monitoring, connectors, and enterprise configuration.
The desktop app has three tabs—Chat, Cowork, and Code—with each Code session keeping its own history, project folder, and changes. Available for macOS, Windows, and Linux (beta).
