Per Bloomberg, Nvidia is nearing a $12.9B acquisition of Hugging Face — about 2.9x the platform's $4.5B valuation from its 2023 funding round — and is negotiating an additional $1B employee retention package. The Information previously reported a deal agreed, valuing HF at roughly 86x its reported $150M annualized revenue. If completed, the deal would fold the largest open-source model community into Nvidia.
