NVIDIA-founded Open Secure AI Alliance joins the Linux Foundation

The Open Secure AI Alliance, originally founded by NVIDIA, is joining the Linux Foundation to continue building an open defensive stack for AI systems.

The alliance develops open source tools, shared standards, and defensive practices to help organizations inspect, audit, and secure AI systems and agents. Its pillars: transparency (open models/weights let defenders run capabilities on infrastructure they control), collective defense (shared testing and evidence), and resilience (portable defenses survive vendor changes). It stresses security covers the full agent stack—models, harnesses, and guardrails—not just the model.
