Anthropic's two prompt tips fix Claude's mannered writing style

Afinetheorem confirms that Anthropic's official advice for making Claude write less strangely actually works: explicitly tell it to avoid mannered prose, and to avoid using ideas/concepts as sentence subjects (as a general but not exact rule). Comparing raw Fable 5.1 output against the adjusted prompts on a syllabus proofread, the result was noticeably better.
