fable-advisor open-sourced: Fable 5.1 architect routes GPT agents by task complexity
daniel_mac8 · x · 2026-09-03
The GitHub project fable-advisor (749 stars) is a Claude Code plugin that exploits subagents running on different models via the architect pattern: the session runs on Fable 5.1 as a full-time architect owning requirements, decomposition, specs and verification. Tasks are routed by complexity — routine work where the spec fully determines the outcome goes to GPT-5.6 Luna via Codex CLI, while high-complexity tasks needing judgment beyond the spec go to GPT-5.6 Sol. Finished work gets a clean-context Fable 5.1 review before shipping. Includes a 30s demo; effectively in-context distillation of Fable's intelligence at fraction of the cost.
