Anthropic confirms its models now write 'mannered prose' and shares a prompt guide

Anthropic has officially confirmed that its models have dropped jargon-heavy output in favor of natural, human-sounding writing — and named the phenomenon "mannered prose".
The author followed up with a full prompt guide showing how to push the model's tone even further from the default style.
