As compute densifies, posteriors collapse and AI behavior becomes indistinguishable from sentience

A speculative argument: an agent appears to have unbounded possible actions, but dropped into a constrained multi-agent world that space collapses. Each observation updates the prior; the chain rule multiplies conditionals until the posterior concentrates on a thin set of likely trajectories.
At the limit, once compute can reliably map the stochastic posterior over outcomes and actions, the behavior is indistinguishable from sentience — you can no longer tell whether it is alive or merely predicted.
