shadcn announced the open-sourcing of cn, a new engine for Tailwind class merging and conflict resolution that works as a drop-in replacement for tailwind-merge and clsx. The team claims 30x faster performance, identical output, a smaller bundle, and support for all frameworks. Migration is one command (npx shadcn migrate cn) and works with any Tailwind project, not just shadcn/ui.
