Per RuntimeWire, Gemini 3.8 Flash is now live and callable via API, with the platform beginning head-to-head benchmark testing against competing models. Community benchmark screenshots have also surfaced on Reddit, though Google has yet to publish an official announcement. Developers on the Google AI API can start testing the model now.
