One prompt, a full multiplayer game: Copilot autopilot builds Fledgling
intellectronica · x · 2026-09-02
burkeholland put GitHub Copilot in autopilot mode and fed it a single prompt: generate a fully functional first-person multiplayer game where you play as a baby bird learning to fly.
The result is Fledgling (fledglinggame.com), a playable online adventure featuring WASD movement, flap-and-glide flight controls, multiplayer interactions (chat, emotes, races), quests, photo mode, adjustable graphics/audio settings, and an original soundtrack. Source is on GitHub.
It's a striking showcase of coding agents autonomously shipping a complete, multi-feature product from one prompt.
