Moderna's personalized mRNA cancer vaccine hits Phase 3 success: 34 neoantigens, 42 days

In an a16z podcast, Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel details the positive Phase 3 results for its personalized melanoma mRNA vaccine with Merck. The treatment sequences a patient's tumor, algorithmically picks up to 34 key neoantigens, and encodes them into a patient-specific mRNA, delivered in 42 days from biopsy.
