At the Automate Further event, Marco Chacin, Head of Actuators and End Effectors at Airbus, discussed the realities of scaling robotics in aerospace manufacturing:
- Aircraft production boils down to the same automation problems other industries face, but with far less room for error, requiring work within strict ISO and regulatory standards
- Airbus also has to compete with tech companies for scarce robotics talent
