Anthropic launches browser-based C2PA checker to detect Claude-made images, video and audio

Anthropic launched a browser-based tool to check whether a file was made or edited with Claude. It reads embedded C2PA content credentials for uploads up to 100MB (JPG, PNG, MP4, WAV, etc.), running entirely locally — files never leave the device.
- A positive result indicates the content was processed by Claude; it says nothing about the substance
- A missing signal doesn't prove content wasn't Claude-made (credential may be removed or unsupported)
