tinkabot turns any API into a Grok Bot plugin with auto-generated MCP and skills
alexcovo_eth · x · 2026-09-02
Lauren shipped tinkabot (v0.1.0), the first third-party bot for grok @bot, aimed at lowering the barrier to building Grok Bot plugins.
Workflow: hand it your API, and it analyzes the data shape, generates matching MCP servers and skills, wraps them into a minimal working plugin, proves it locally, asks once for affiliation, then lets you submit it to the Marketplace for approval so all Grok Bot users can install it.
The author notes it's only been tested on small toy APIs so far and welcomes feedback on real-world ones.
