Pasqal, a Paris-based quantum computing startup, showcased an AI agent workflow for automating quantum experiments. Built on Pasqal's software stack and orchestrated by Claude Code, the workflow translates research goals or entire papers into executable quantum code.
Workflow:
- The agent reads a paper or task description, extracting physical goals.
- Converts goals into structured experiment specifications.
- Translates specifications into Pulser pulse sequences and sends them to a real QPU.
Results: On the noisy FC1 processor, a driven-dissipative experiment retained approximately 80% of the saturation order parameter, reaching 71% of the ideal value. Nature dubbed this 'quantum vibe coding'.
