FLUX.2 [klein] 4B tops blind human tests for both generation and editing, and runs on your own machine. It's a 4B-parameter rectified flow transformer, distilled to 4 steps for sub-second generation on modern hardware. Supports text-to-image, single-reference edit, and multi-reference edit in one checkpoint. Apache 2.0, commercial use included. No separate editing model or inpainting workaround.
