Analyst report massively overestimates robot data generation
zephyr_z9 · x · 2026-09-02
A correction highlights that a sell-side report's claim—robots generate 200x more data daily than the entire LLM corpus—is deeply flawed. Citing the DROID database, robots generate 64TB/day, which is only 0.5x the 120TB LLM training corpus cited. The report was off by 100x-500x.
